haha yeah. absolutely
haha yeah. absolutely crushed when i lost the first bream. 4th cast! for once my dad actually outfished me 7 bream to nill. didnt even get a bait out for mulloway until 1am. no mulloway pulled in either. one thinbg that was apparent, the organisation of the weigh in was absolutely shocking. werent too many fish pulled in over the board. there was only one flounder caugfht , but it was of 680 odd grams. a huge fish. imo, they should make skippy a category. there were more skippy wieghed in for strangest/unusual capture than flounder! skippy was chosen oer a big cuttly for the prize.

Hey I was near by you, had a red Jarvis Walker shirt on and straw hat on in the queue in the morning.
Was fishing from Blackwall to mozzies all night with a few other boats. Not a touch all night. The baits were untouched all night. we had tailor, bonies and mulies out.
was very disappointed. I guess all the Bream were caught right up river. There were some great prizes, well done to all concerned.
I also think that all fish that have been weighed in that win prizes should be kept till the end of the weigh in. just a thought.
I dont need counselling just a bigger boat

yeah i know what you mean we
yeah i know what you mean we caught a lot near the city area but we did try guilford and surrounds
and only were catching 10-15cm bream there.Seems there were more mid river this year than anywhere else
we managed 32 bream in first 2 hrs ranging from 24cm to the biggest at 34cm near the city but i couldnt find the flathead anywhere but
that 1.2kg winner was a monster though

yeah. we had about 5 hookups
yeah. we had about 5 hookups inthe first half hour with two fish landed between 4 people. rest were bust offs. this was within crawling distance of sign up ;) my dad brought in the first c+r fish for the day, he had to wait for 10 minutes for them to set up the scales etc. wasnt a bad fish at 450 grams, touch under 30cm. Matt, thinkin of giving canning a go on monday morning for some bream if your keen.

oops..
we caught a tonne of fish for swan fish, but didnt think any of em were big enough...
that includes a just sized flounder.. also bagged a few tailor, herring, flathead and whiting all from pt walter all on lures and sp's. biggest flattie went 40cm, didnt think thatd b anywhere near a winner was it? herring was just under 30, tailor around 35, and whiting was tiny.
we didnt even bother rocking up to the weigh in coz we were pretty destroyed after fishing for pretty much 24 hrs straight. can anyone post the winning sizes for all the senior categories?
Cheers,
Dave
