 Only got ourselves to blame,

Tue, 2025-07-01 08:11

 Only got ourselves to blame, the amount of shit left behind is a disgrace, its really sad to think there are people out there that think its ok to leave there rubbish anywhere they feel especially in awesome spots like we have in wa, its only a matter of time if it keeps happening and it most likely will!

Default

Tue, 2025-07-01 08:17

That can't be our default position in my opinion. State has a huge budget surplus, do a ranger/police blitz, put in cameras etc and fine the absolute shite out of people doing the wrong thing and then name and shame, seize vehicles for 7 days etc.

Sick of losing access bloody everywhere and for everything.

 Mate totally agree something

Tue, 2025-07-01 11:33

 Mate totally agree something needs to change, its not just our beaches and 4wd areas its our camp sites too, we are losing access to places due to the increased don't give a fuck attitude and antisocial behaviour.

 I get your point but I

 I get your point but I disagree with you.

I enjoy these tracks but I take my rubbish with me.

Also, I stick to the tracks and dont go down them at 42 PSI, ripping the track up as I go. Many people respect it like me.

Rangers are paid to keep an eye on these places but you never see them picking up rubbish. Not that it should be their job but it is glaringly obvios that the government agenda is to restrict access and create beautiful places that no one can see. Put a fence up and you dont need to manage it any more

Our recent trip to Ningaloo was exactly this. 40km of coast with no access to the beach. Every track to the west had a rope across it and sign that said 'management access only'

Whats the point of these places if no one can see them?

Hold the assholes accountable. Actively manage the tracks. We literally pay rates, park access fees etc yet access gets thinner and thinner.

There are other ways of accessing the bit of coast you are referring to.

Once you work that out you'll never complain about the lack of car access when you come back and observe complete cluster&*k the bay has been become in recent years...

 Unfortunately it's too easy

Tue, 2025-07-01 09:23

 Unfortunately it's too easy for dickheads and pigs to get hold of 4wd vehicles nowadays. Fished Alkimos for year until the developers shut access due to dune damage only to see them flatten it anyway. go figure. Head north and see what is going on with access to land and sea ,and who is doing it. Kimberley marine park is a good example.

It's sad to see it's coming to this

Tue, 2025-07-01 10:15

 See the same along Whitehills to Preston. Dunes getting carvered up. Good to see the Shire that manages Preston beach has better control and monitoring to report these idiots.

Better patroling and large fines are required to deter offenders.

 Yes agree with the above

Tue, 2025-07-01 10:21

 Yes agree with the above sentiments, I see the fcken morons tearing the beach up all through summer because they can.

It's a swimming beach out the front of our place and only a matter of time before someone is cleaned up.

I've never seen the Ranger on the beach , reckon he/her needs to pull their finger out and patrol it on the weekends.

E PETITION

Tue, 2025-07-01 13:20

There is currently an e petition in the Western Australian parliment relating to the firearms Act 2024, demanding a halt and proper review and consultation, which is also relavent to this issue and that of our outdoor lifestyle in general, in that it is another attack on out freedoms.

If you think this is the end of it you are sadly mistaken.

I would urge everyone who values the outdoor lifestyle, fishing, camping, hunting, ect to sign the petition and try to stop the continual attack on our way of life.

It litrally only takes 2 minutes and is a great opportunity for a show of numbers and to send a message that we have had enough of government over reach.

A search of the parlimentary web site will lead you to it.

Having camped and extensively

Wed, 2025-07-02 07:09

Having camped and extensively explored an area ranging from the Kimberley in the north to east of Esperence over the past 4-5 years driven by the distinct belief that at some point in the future many of these areas are going become restricted access, I would say this;

There is some appalling behavior that goes on by a minority. Outright boganism at its worst. Wanton environmental destruction and reckless ignorant buffoonery that puts others at risk. This area of the coast, given it's proximity to Perth, the source of the worst offenders, seems to be the apex of it from my experience.

That said, there is a much bigger agenda driving this issue and this is but another gash being inflicted in the ongoing death by a thousand cuts. I encourage everyone to watch this documentary, it is simply the best articulation of the overall agenda I have seen in my many years of researching these issues;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFHHOBiUrkg

Furthermore, this is also directly relevant as the legitimate explanation for the upcoming social media ban coming into effect in December this year which is going to see you needing to verify your identity to access any and all social media content - including youtube;

Finally if anyone still believes this is all a nonsense conspiracy theory, all I can say is that they (still) have a covid vaccine to sell you.

E PETITION

Wed, 2025-07-02 16:05

Without banging on to much the e petition is more about saying no to what is essentially state sponsored theft of peoples legally aquired property, and restricting law abiding people from undertaking lawful activities, people who have complied in every way and done everything asked of them only to be treated like criminals by this government.

They continue to treat people with a breath taking amount of arrogant contempt, telling us what is best for us and formulating laws and policies, in conjuction with the police, with no seperation between legislation makers  and law enforcement, which is very dangerous ground for every one that enjoys some level of freedom, be it 4wding, fishing, outdoor activities or camping, and will only result in more resrictions, closures and lock outs. Its literally Police telling the government what they want and other departments will most certainly be watching it closely.

They have manipulated the media to sell the line that it is for safety and for the better which is just rubbish.

We all need to be saying that we have had enough of this type of massive over reach and this is just one way to make your voice heard.

Its death by a thousand cuts, or the frog in the boiling water scenario, but trust me when I say the water is boiling and you need to get out now. They wont stop here.
