Played with the ladder predictor
And there is a few very winnable games after this first 8. If they pick up form (if) and win the predictable winnables and take one top team, and don't loose ANY of the ones I chose, they still can mathematically make the 8 (LOL and unbelievable).
BUT then I used my poor tipping form and I only played with the predictor.
Hawks top, Sydney then eagles, Geelong, NM taking a little slide with some tough games coming.
Have to admit it was fun playing with the predictor, and I did this at season start to pick my top 8. 5 games in and it is surprising how much your "predictor" changes. Port and Adelaide has done a role reversal. Collingwood wobbling, Daemons rolling better under "the man", Expected a bit more grunt from Saint's and Richmond.

Tough tough year to be a dockers supporter.
Alex pearce was very good. Lachie weller was very good. I wished a lot more freo players kicked at 98 % or whatever he ended up with. Even taberner wasnt too bad on one of the best defenders in the league. Mundy is a good move down back. Need morabito back there as well to improve the kicking efficiency more. Sheridan was good. But geez where are the senior players? Ballaz? Neale 40 disposals but at 68%?? Probably one of the crows best today.
There were better signs in the first half, but wasted so many chances to put scoreboard pressure on.

Got the first two wrong in this round, but decided that I was so far behind in the competition now, after being in the lead at the end of round 1, that I'd go for a few outsiders - starting to pay off. Got the last four tips right including GWS vs Hawks. Couldn't go against Sydney and WCE though. Going for Ess though.

I thought the umpiring in the freo crows game was pretty poor but it wasnt one sided in any way. I saw some decisions that would have had the crows fans pretty upset. One really obviously holding the man not called right in front of goal. May have been eddie betts being held.

Here we go again, well not quite right it involves the WAFL not the AFL entertainment.

According to the article a East Perth player showed great sportsmanship and guile by delivering a to a East Fremantle play off the ball.
To quote world former boxing champion Danny Green it was "a cowards punch" he further stated that this sort of thing has got to be stamped out be it on a sporting arena or a football field. I just don't know why the rules have always been different on a footy field.
Now this are comments from a man who has played/participated in a sport on the world stage.
Now we have comments and actions from the very people who have the responsibility for taking it forward and projecting the image of the game in a positive manner. what do they do. the player who delivered the "cowards punch" was suspended for 2 weeks.
That is really showing that this sort of behaviour is not going to be tolerated.....yeah right.
A statement from the WAFL manager says the governing body was satisfied with the decision reached.
Then the East Perth chief executive said the football department would speak to the 23 year old player.
Now that is really going to drive the message home about this type of action is not acceptable.....dear god give strength.
Tell me fellow F/W members what do you think this great sportsman should have got as a punishment
