Thrifty
Thrifty Rental rent three tonne covered trucks which can be driven on a normal licence. They hold a surprising amount of gear.

You can also hire the
You can also hire the covered moving trailer from and hire mob.
They are low and have a long ramp so arent too steep to trolley up the bigger stuff.
These are ideal to move in the metro area as you can do a few trips and they hire for around 80 bucks for 24 hours.
If you have to do 100k's trips truck might be cheaper.
If you have a big house with lots of breakables and fragile furnature, paying for professional removalist are good as they have insurance.
