Went down for a quick fish this morning on the incoming tide. We managed to get 5 with a few more that didn't quite hook up with the bites just missing the hook. Landed a 5 foot shovel as well that made me fight for every bit of line back on the spool.
Certainly won't be going hungry while these are still around

Nice - how do you normally prepare these? Freeze first? any soaking in milk? Whats the preferred cooking method?

These smaller models are easy. When they get over 4 foot it's a bit of a different story. Shovel nose on the other hand give a good fight
