Monster Mesh vs Fin Nor vs Deep Jig 400??

Gday all,
Im after an 80lb jigging rod to match to a Saragosa 18,000. Budget is approx $200 - $250.
Just after a few opinions on the following as to which would suit best:
- Daiwa Monster Mesh Max
- Fin Nor Offshore
- Shimano Deep Jig 400
The rod will be used for both jigging sambos and kings and also some deep water bottom bashing.
Must be able to handle 80lb as i already have 80 on my Gosa.
Cheers for any thoughts.

The monster mesh would be the pick out of the bunch for me, they are great value for money. The fin nor are a good rod but the grips on them are pretty damn thick and get hard for my hands to grip on to. With the Money saved you could buy a couple more jigs.

The fin nor is an over rated rod in my opinion more like 50lb

mmmm read it again mate. he is saying the 80lb rod is more suited to 50lb line. not that theyre a bad rod. and yes i agree i have an 80 overhead and it would no way be able to handle 80lb line, but still a loverly rod when running 50lb

I have Fin nor 50lb
works great with soft plastics, but I wouldnt use it for bottom bashing ( too soft in the tip), I would use my deep jig 400 instead which is full of cobwebs but then my older MM I use for both

I reckon Finnor are an under rated rod, I have 3 in spin & O/H & 1 is an 80lb jig with saragosa 18000 & 80lb braid find the grips good. The power you get from them & the lightness is great people shy away cause they are thin looking rods but great action.

Perhaps u read my post wrong
Perhaps u read my post wrong strike zone as i do actually own one and love it! what i was implying is the rod lb rating is over rated as i believe it is more suited to 50lb.
U load one up next to a M/M or Deep Jig 400 and see the difference. again if i was after a 80lb jigging rod for sambos and deep dropping i would go the MM
