Hawks going in as short favourites playing at home on the rebound , I’m thinking they’ll muster enough enthusiasm to get over the line but not overly confident given what they served up last week .
Adelaide travelling again but they are looking hungry and I think the bookies are being generous at $3.65 . I’m thinking it’s going to be a good game , bonus if they smash each other up a bit as well .

One thing going in the Hawks favour is that out of the last 14 occasions they have backed up after a loss, they have won and quite comfortably as well 13 times. You'd think they would be stung by last week, it was rather un Hawthorn like, not taking anything away from the Eagles. Could be something special or the end of an era. Carna Hawks.

The west Australian teams are use to tralling across the country every second week. No other teams do it. Hawthorns record against freo at domain isnt outstanding. Dont know why everyone thinks freo fans should be concerned. If sydney or north belt the other, will you be concerned? Or be like me, having confidence in your team's ability to play their game despite what opposition they face?

What was seen last week was the beginning of the Clarko plan. Play shit give Weegurls confidence and the 2 week break they need plus a home prelim. This will enable the opponent, being WC to be in with a chance and give what OZ wants, a close grandy this year with 2 heavy scoring game styles and seemingly make Hawthorn earn their 3 peat

Hawks are under a illusion , Campo will be back to playing 2nd fiddle next year , all well and good to take the game on offensively for 4 qtrs if you get the jump on your opposition initially but if your on your back foot . You need to equally be able to apply pressure and force errors , the hawks had about a million uncontested marks .

Mmm, Freo haven't exactly been tested themselves lately. Could having a core group of players playing just a single game in a few weeks be an issue? If the Hawks get as much opportunities at goals as the Swans then Freo could be in trouble but they can expect some pretty manic pressure and nowhere near as much space. Low scoring scrag fest perhaps?
