Happy birthday to Russ Faulkner as well, hopefully their trip back gets better!! Bumped into him today, 40km south of Minilya with the back right trailer tyre snapped off at the axle and had already been waiting for the tow truck for 5 hours. :(

going to be a bit of a wait *pout*
Looks like the trailer will not be fixed till tuesday or wednesday at this stage .
Made up for russes B-day he has a seafood buffet dinner and the cook decorated a choc mud cake for him so was ok in the end 10and 1/2 hours on the side of the road in the middle of no where is not to much fun *LOL* .
you know I have to say but not one person stopped to see if they could help when it first happened at 5-5.30 am heaps of cars with boats going past with out even a can i give you a lift nothing . Where has camaraderie gone helping each other on the side of the road. well maybe they will be in that situation and no one will stop and help them.

I tell you what on the way
I tell you what on the way up i was giving all the fishos coming home a wave ,not one person waved,what is this world coming to people are so selfish and stuck up,no one stoped to see if Jesse and Jody were ok when they were on the side of the road.,We were very luky Russ came to the rescue.

Yeah its a bit sad, personally I like to pull over and just check people are okay. Most people are very appreciative and I'd like to think someone might do the same for me one day if I'm in that unfortunate position.
