yeh its a cheapy "Outback" lure from big W. (Jointed 1metre diver)
i get sick of losing laser pro's on the reef and honestly ive caught more tailor on this lure than all the others in me box.. (it looks a bit funny because its bent upwards at the join)...
There wasnt many around, but the ones we landed were all over 500mm... a blast on light spin gear..
I failed to mention that it wasnt land based ..so i spose its not all that great of a catch really .... Its just that ive been overseas working for the last few months and this was my first chance to wet a line in ages !!!!

And agreed HOOKT theyll smash almost anything thrown at them, but these cheapys are great at this spot coz they float, so when a cast goes astray and lands on the reef i just wait until the swell pushes over the rocks and lifts the lure clear to crank over the edge where it'll get hit more often than not (and it doesnt hurt the wallet so much either).. i love em and always keep 2 or 3 in the box..

That seems to be the way the tailor are at the moment luke
They are not around in big numbers, but they are a decent size. The next few months should see them start schooling up a bit hopefully.
