Cape Naturaliste Auction Trip Yesterday
Got the word from harro, The trips on,WOOOOOOO, packed the car got away from work and headed down to dunsbrough, down there by 5 and booked into the accomidation.

Quick trip over to coles to get some supplies, walking around with my fishwrecked shirt on and i get a, "Hello", "Oh youve got a fishwreked shirt on", "My husband goes on that site," turns out to be 7739ian's wife(watch out mate she knows about your plan for the husky) Had a very nice chat with her,What a small world.
Next morning its off to harros place to say harro(sorry mark we couldnt help it) And we met up with mark and his daughter. We knew the house because we saw SEADUCED.

We launched the boat, headed out to sea, 20k's out we stoped on some nice ground that looked really good, the sounder was alight but the fish wern't biting. The waves were so big and i nearly fell over a couple of times.
Harro took us back into the bay were it was a little bit calmer and flatter and we set up a drift on some nice looking ground, did 1 drift, lots of bites next thing we know this boat comes over! Turns out to be a mate of Harro's, couple of guys out for a fish with no electronics on their boat, harro turns round and says ",how did you go?" they say",been out for 2 hours, no fish" Harro says ", The lumps over there" they go across the lump and pull up a nice queenie! Back we go across the lump and my son(luke)gets hooked up on his first deep sea fish.

He pulls it up and it turns out to be a nice sweep, the first sweep harros seen out there ever and first fish for the trip, Hes broken the drought!

Couple minutes late harro gets hooked up on this very nice Blackass.

we kept trying all day,we tried different spots, different places but the fish wouldnt play. Very quiet day and mark was very dissapointed and has very kindly invited us down for ROUND 2 witch was a very generous offer that we will happily take him up on.
Thanks mark, was an absolutley great day.(we were totally Seaduced)

nah mate we went out eagle bay carvonite.. but i dont understand ur post mate..
we first went out a cple miles north of the cape, hoping to get out to some good ground, fist spot had a boat on it.. so we wont out to another another km or so away, but the swell was large, the sw winds were capping, and my daughter was sick and young luke didnt really like it so we came in.. to eagle bay,,,next trip we will make sure we get the right winds and swell...
we had a moderate swell with a good sw breeze around the cape.. very choppy etc , as soon as u get back in in bay it was glass.
??wots this mean mate??
Sorry about no fish of note for the trip but they will be rapt on the offer of a repeat .
anyway we got an undersize dhuie just under.. and another blackass also, dropped a cple of fish, but not much on the keeping.
still a great day.

Well done guys
sorry you didn't catch more but thats how it goes. Luckily the wife was pre-occupied dealing with my sister-in-law who was camped over for the weekend. The bunkroom is still on offer for your follow up if required and i will throw in some Husky strips for bait.
