Boat storage Fremantle area?
Submitted by Rob H on Wed, 2012-10-24 09:13
Im looking for somewhere to store a boat from 5th November (+/-) for around 2 weeks.
Commercial or even better someone with a bit of space to donate for a fee!
Preferably close to Freo port as I have to get a mate to move it and its a big ask to get him to pull it too far.
Ive only found one place (at Rous Head) and its pretty steep.
Any ideas or someone able to help??
cheers Rob

Post is a bit quiet
Your post is a bit quiet, but I'm thinking that members are worried about if things go wrong and your boat is vandelised, or gets stolen. The boat storage places have security, and insurance. Are you a member of a boating club, if so you may be able to get the OK to store it at CPBA (as an accociated member), they have a fenced off area they hire out.
You havn't mentioned what size your boat is.

Boat is 6.8, legal width.
Boat is 6.8, legal width. Not a club member, i live in gero so no clubs or private ramps etc. problem with heading too far is i need to get a mate to collect and its a big ask to go too far under a permit. Pier 21 dont deal with boats on trailers, nor the others it seems.

You may have to bite the
You may have to bite the bullet and go for the storage facility at Rous head , remember they provide outside and inside storage at different rates, security, and security for your trailer when the boat is on the water, they can launch and retreive your boat for you. also you are at the water so towing is a minimum distance.

Try here and ask for short term outside storage, may be what you want.
