Went out this morning perfect conditions light Northerly, got out there quick my mate Rob got the only keeper I pulled up a juvenile and quickly released it. Rob lost another on the way up, but was happy with the one fish. Did'nt bring alot home but what a majic day on the water.

Nice Fish Kev. How far out
Nice Fish Kev.
How far out do you have to head down Bunbury way to get to decent fishing grounds.
I will be heading down there in a few weeks to Australind and wondering if its worth towing a 4.5m tinnie.
Cheers

Yeah definately bring your boat as Australind is on the Estuary. Fishing the estuary at the moment the Whiting are in good numbers up near the Cut also trolling lures around the Cut should get you some Tailor and Herring. If the weather is good try going outside the Cut and travell North there is reef all along the shoreline troll for Tailor or anchor, drift for bottom species depth varies from 8 - 12 metres on inshore reefs but Pinkies and even Dhuies have been caught as the water tempertures down here are warming up.

Cheers Kev.
Looks like we take the second car to take the boat.
We were going to just try our luck at Buffalo beach at night but will try the estuary and out wide if the weather plays the game.

Nice Dhuie Kev! I never have a lot of luck on the Dhuies but always manage a few Pinkies.
