Voted on Friday. Good to get
Voted on Friday. Good to get in and out without the political seagulls.
Labor, Greens, Flouride Free and the Christians down in the 40's. Daylight savings and Libs for the win.

nurses ferderation
nurses do a great job but the political ad they have on the radio would be the worst i have ever heard. they could have got their message across a lot better with out using a crancky old woman buzzing the nurse button constantly , to the nurses fed credit they are the only union not politicaly aligned with any political group

My better half is a nurse
My better half is a nurse and she has been canvassing the ratio at home. Much to her dismay I have been providing commentary to see how many bites I can get.
The ALP was founded by trade unions, for the time being and many to come I cannot see many of the union(s) aligning themselves politically with parties who dont hold the same views on most issues e.g privatisation of public assets, penalty rates, minimim wage, pension/healthcare/education cuts etc

Current state of leadership in Australia
Recent elections, this one included, is a bit like having Collingwood playing in a Grand Final ......... Kind of hard to watch, and you just keep hoping the other side wins

Doesnt really matter to me who wins, as I think with the choices of premier we're limited to, we're fucked either way.

Im stuck offshore and there's
Im stuck offshore and there's no options to vote for me so got my name taken off.
As per Scotto...screwed either way, I voted for Red in the federal election and would've done the same for state election even though I hate the Libs.
Have previously voted labour and am still a paying union member, but cant stand the Greens as there phuked so labour lost my vote there.
Shooters and fishers would have got the next best tick.

I've always voted Labor for
I've always voted Labor for State as I've had good local MLAs but mine is suggesting I put Greens 3rd on the ballot. My Liberal is a Simpkins stooge. My SSFP doesn't live within 200km of my electorate.
I've never been so uninspired to cast my vote.

Hardest part
Voted last week below the line. Doesn't matter who I voted for the hardest part was what parties/people got to go last.
So with 48 candidates I was hard to pick the last few because there were so many idiots to chose from.
Labor,Liberal,Greens,Christians,Daylightsaving,Animal liberation and Nationals all in the bottom of the 48.

Always
I have voted early for years. Save lining up with all the mums & dads with kids on saturday morning. Went to Joondalup and there were more people handing out how to vote cras than people lining up to vote. In & out in less than 5 minutes ( A bit like my sex life)

Decisions decisions decisions
For the first time since I have been entitled to vote I am feeling really at a loss at who to vote for.
Shamefully, right at this moment and so close to voting time I just feel like writing on my ballot papers "none of you deserve my vote", and this IMO would be a great insult to all those brave men and women who gave their lives that we might have a right to say who is going to govern us.
Every day we have it rammed down our throat just how broke this state is and how many billions (for gods sake) of dollars this state owes. by the way you will not find any nice political correctness in my language on this subject.
The only way this state can fund the promises all of the major parties promises is through higher taxing of the people it governs. That's us.
There is an old saying, "if you can't afford it you can't have it learn to live without it for now" or something like that.
The majority of the remaining parties I could not with clear consciousness vote for, and that causes me some angst as I don't want to go against what I feel the value of the ability to vote has cost.
So back to the start, decisions decisions decisions.

Quietly watching the Pilbara seat, Grylls looks done and dusted, was looking ok until the counted votes coming out of Newman went against him. After Barnett, Grylls is the next one I was hoping to see screwed.

A great country bloke who
A great country bloke who actually did give a shit, and set about making things happen for country people.
And actually made a difference.
To some it would seem perverse, the bloke who couldnt be blowed voting properly gloating over the downfall of someone who did the exact opposite and made shit happen...

The only thing
The only thing that has shocked me about the results, is how many people voted for the Greens.
Who are these people ? . They should all be socially shamed and harassed for being such idiots . LOL .
