I think it's a bit early to tell, certainly no reports from the pros up north yet. Maybe some divers over the next week or so will have some reports of moulting.
Catches in pots very minimal right now. My call very early season this season. Scientists say this season worse than last. I didn't think that could happen.

I had a swim last weekend and
I had a swim last weekend and there werent even feelers on the spot I normally see a few.
The native christmas trees are starting to flower around me which suggests it isnt far away.
