Went out to pull the pots in this morning as next week of weather looking crumby. Once we got out, looked ok, so went to the 30s for a quick drop as didn't think going deeper was a good idea with the forecast. Picked up my pb baldy at 63cm on the first drop! Had been on the bottom for like 1-2 mins, so was stoked! Then swarms of baby snapper. Headed in as needed to get the pots on board. First pot had 8 second 3 and last 4. 3 undersize went back, but was made up for by 3 bigguns! No tarspot or eggs so happy days! Biggest went just under 2kg! Pretty much first jumbo that didn't have to throw back. I normally would anyway, but love the legs and will be enjoyed, tough or not!! Now even more eager for some decent weather and a good bottom fishing session.
