Can anyone help me with the best distance back from the boat you would run your daisy chain and witchdoctor teasers. I have seem most running in the prop wash, or is it better to run in clearwater.

If we run a witchdoctor it is run short about 7-10mtrs behind the boat and with daisy chains about 10mtrs behind and we prefer clear water about 1-1.5mtrs wide of the boat.

in the prop wash where the V of the wash is about 1-2m wider of each side of the vessel. The water is flatter, clearer there and it keeps your teaser more stable. Then again, depends on how fast you're trolling and what you're chasing.
