shark fishing at barges

hi guys , providing the weather is reasonable me and my usual crew will be targeting those big noahs at the wrecks / barges off rotto on saturday and sunday coming we've done a bit of this before in carnarvon/ mackeral islands / karratha so im sharpening the jobu's and uncoiling the wire as we speak if you see us out there in the 26 seafox that's what we'll be doing ,i'd love to catch and release a big mako!! cheers

awesome stuff mate!
i work on deep sea charters and the last 2 years we bin out there jiggin for sambos we seen heaps of whites and makos takin the fish from us right infront of the boat, theres a couple of monsters out there tht will take whole sambo heads, lost 2 sambos at work last week from bein sharked, good luck and try get sum pics up,

sharks at barges
i got a 5m tiger at carnarvon last year on my 16s inter with 80 braid so i might try for a shark on my 20,000 stella ive got 500m of pe 6 on it , with a 5/6m 100lb wind on and one of my 5m cable rigs it might be fun on the spin gear!!
