Hi
i will be going to exmouth in december and i want to purchase a reel. i will be fishing in my boat just behind the reef by trolling.
which reel will you advice????

How much do you want to
How much do you want to spend, and do you have an idea of what line class you'd like to run on the reel? Are you trolling only or bottom bouncing as well? Running 50lb would be good for reef fish (or heavier), but wouldnt give mackies a lot of a run (sometimes this is good to outrun the sharks), though you can just set the drag lower when you want a bit of fun.
As D_DOUSH said, a TLD would be a good starting point, otherwise the new saltists are coming out soon, or you could go a tyrnos. Being lever drags, they're suited to trolling, but there are star drag options as well (most reels if you put 50lb on, you wont break them even if you crank the drag all the way up anyways).
Though, best option is as the Faulkner Family said and head down to a shop and give a few reels a spin.

LOL - just kidding. I'm gonna round out my collection with a Tiagra in a few months.

What about
The Torsa. I have all the above reels and for a multi purpose reel that has good drag but can be used to troll and bottom bounce. Not cheap but lovely reel and not to heavy to play with all day. But if you don't want to spend much money the TLD's are hard to beat IMO.

Shouldn't be a problem...
...I'm probably not one to comment on Exmouth fishing but have done a lot of trolling with both TLD's and higher end reels and I can say that the TLD 25 will do the job. It's when you get into hardcore lockdown drag fishing (like sambo jigging)is when the expensive gear really show's it's worth. Good boat handling skills after a trolling hookup are probably more important than the quality of your reel.
If there was an honest chance of a 300 kg marlin jumping onto your lure, then yeah, you'd be wishing for an Inter or Tiagra but the good 'ol TLD will be fine with the spaniards/tuna/sailfish you'll hopefully get up there! Just make sure you use top quality mono and all the right leader knots/traces/etc.
