i was out at 530 am at my secret crab spot in mandurah this morning , i couldnt believe it , 1 pull of 10 nets and we had our limit , the second pull to get the drop nets out of the water produced anouther 17 that went back as we had our limit , beautifull big clean male crabs that are full, the jennys are starting to berrie which is a good sign for next season will

hardly worth putting the boat in the water for that amount of time lol . well done .
i got 4 good ones a week ago when i put my net out and were all solid as. one even had a second shell developing within the shell.

Nice work. I was thinking about heading down with the kids for the first time ever with a few nets. Not keen on the weather though.

I took mine out in 16kn SW
I took mine out in 16kn SW winds a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly doable and I was driving around at 30knots. Just make sure you have a hook ready for when you miss a pot

Weather looking less
Weather looking less favourable on Saturday but we'll see. I guess we could drop pots in pretected water as a token effort. Rain will be a game changer with a 1 and 4 year old in a centre console.
