How have you attached your lights to bimini?

Gday all.
I have been playing around with ideas of a set of lightbars for the boat (got some spares laying around) they are about 13" long, dont weigh a great deal and was thinking of an easily removable way to attach to the leading edge of the bimini for those few morning you want to beat the rush. Has anyone gone down this road, and got a few pics to share the wealth?

lightbars
Depending on the mounts with the light bars you may be able to use stainless hose clamps around one of the rails. I have a led worklamp of my ute on the roll bar with 2 hose clamps works fine.

been toying with idea
of running some Rigid led spot lights. They are 12v and would be fully wired in and attached to the Targa frame via ss welded tabs. You could do the same on ss tabs but just have some wing nuts so you could remove them?

Ive been looking at fitting
Ive been looking at fitting a lightbar to my bimini after our night run to the Abrolhos a few weeks back.
Probably easiest way without welding to your bimini frame is get some SS pipe (or even an ss socket) that fits over the bimini frame-split it in half and weld a tab on.
Then use an SS hoseclamp to clamp to bimini frame.
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

Got a light bar on my run
Got a light bar on my run about for night navigating. 1st I mounted it on the top of the windscreen facing forward but because of the gloss white paint on the front of the boat infront of the windscreen the glare was shocking and I couldn't see a thing! So then mounted it to the now rail as far forward as possible which worked way better with bugger all glare coming back at me, but it gets a lot more wet there! Also being a run about if it's a bit rough the nose is constantly up and down and so is your light so kinda gets annoying. If it's dead calm then it's fine, just gotta work out the rite angle to set it at tho.

Got my lights fitted to canvas that fits onto toggles
Got my lights fitted to canvas that fits onto toggles on the bimini. Had a marine trimmer make up the canvas with holes suited to fit the toggles at same spacing as the storm cover where it connects to the bimini. Then connect occy strap back to targa frame and use this to hold the wires up (wrapped losely round occy strap) back to connectors at the targa. Only fit the lights when you need them otherwise kept in cabin out of the weather.

2 bricks...
Cheers to you all, i feel thick as 2 bricks for not thinking of many of those ideas. Trying to over engineer things and went well past the basics.
i was playing with the idea of getting the tig out and making up a new frame, but untill i get a bit more height to the shed rollerdoor, that will have to wait. i was trying to find a "C" clamp style attachement so could clamp on along the leading edge of the bimini.. Didnt even give 2 thoughts to the idea of getting little "button holes" sewn into it...
Any of you lads got a some pics floating around of your styles??? im out at work for 3 more week, so need to continue dreaming :)
thanks again

Why mount lights on the bimini.
I have two anchor lights, one on a fold down pedestal on the windscreen and another on a pedestal of the stern.
