Hamelin Bay

Guys am heading down towards Hamelin Bay tommorow. Any idea if Salmon still running there?

Hi Zikoux.
Was fishing there on Saturday just gone, none around from the beach. Baitfish around 200-300m offshore are everywhere with birds going nuts all day.
On the upside I fished a diferent yet simialr beach close by and scored some very large herring on my salmon lures/poppers - some were nearly a foot long, a very nice feed in around half an hour so i suppose there is an upside to no salmon down here atm.

Nope
no Salmon run on the west coast yet. You might find very small schools or individuals but no proper schools.
