Great work to the blokes who took the time to investigate the object and a good outcome to what could've been another tradgedy, hats off to you!

Lucky bloke. Well done.
I met a fellow Fishwrecked member the same way a few years back. We thought he was a octopus pot float until he waved.

Met the bloke at Long Point this morning
the blokes who rescued him were taking him for a spin around Warnbro Sound. I chatted for a few minutes with the bolke who was rescued. He still sounded shaken. He said the boat took white water over transom while fishing in the Coventry reef horseshoe , Weatern side of reef. The boat immeadetly pitched the now vertical and went straight under. He men who saved him were in good spirits, possibly helping the older man get some confidence back.
Rescued bloke said the ambos told him his body temp was 30deg C , and that under 33 your in grave danger of heart attack. Not my field so take him at his word.
It all started from me saying its a great day eh, and he responded it certainly was as he nearly died yesterday .
have a safe festive season , I hope every one gets some family time.
Tight lines. Glenn.
