first trip in new boat

Our first trip out in the new boat "JUSTIFIED" was a success. First time using a minn kota took a bit of getting to know it but got it sussed out . Of course the first fish on the boat was returned to the sea luckily it was just a spannish flag.  Followed up with some nice black snapper of 50cm plus and a few smaller ones.  The current was absolutely ripping having to use a 16 Oz sinker to hold bottom in 20mtrs . All up a great day with a bag out in about 3 hours

Nice work. I noticed the big yellow icebox on the deck. If you are ever looking to clear up some deck space, a medium sized madfish catch bag fits perfectly between the 2 storage bunks in the cabin ;)

The big esky isn't too bad when only 2 of us fishing , also doubles as a seat . I do have one of them bags as well which we use when more are fishing but that's not often.

We work hard to be able to get the toys. Now gotta work harder to pay for the buggers. Going to take a bit of getting used to the bar crusher , handles a bit different to the swifty that's for sure. The minn kota will be a game changer

It will take time to "Faulkner-ise" it....

I havent yet done it to my BC but I will..... fit "sliding drawers" under the bait board for quick access (hooks/sinkers/ pliers etc)

There is a 32 litre esky that fits exactly in to the rear  "doorway". No more bending for bait.

Are your seats on pedastles or brackets to the side?  Pedastles have drawers so lots of storage.  MIne has brackets so I have fitted a draw under each seat. This involved making a suiatble frame and raising th seats by about 2 inches

I trust you get many years of pleasure from it.
