Sounds good Scotto. 55m a bit beyond my capacity in a 460 but might sneak out to 40m on Sunday from Peron. U do any good in 40's?

They are both good spots
They are both good spots been out at both and too rocks we got Dhue's in 40m from about 12 miles west of the marinajust looking for flare ups on the sounder all the way out to 20 miles ended up with dhue baldies and snapper
Point perion is also good we got dhues in 40m again all the way out to 100m same tatic we also caught mulloway as well as lots of speicies

yep
i'm finding the dhus are gradually goin deeper, but was doin ok in about 45 - 50m not too long ago.
without givin too many secrets away........
the ground out from p.p. is pretty awesome, and its a good 15 - 20 mile hike to get out there, but its well worth it some MEGA lumps we found the other week, sharply came up from 70 to 55, then back down again. thats where we were doing the damage. there are some shallower spots on that bank, that come up from 40 - 19m!! we've been planning to dive that for a couple of years now, but haven't got round to it yet.
there is a lot of ground to cover though. some lumps look incredible on the sounder (5 - 10m sharp rises / lumps and holding good fish), but the fish were hard to tempt.

Well if that is the case why
Well if that is the case why not drive up to moore river as they are getting lots of tailor and herring as well as a few mulloway. Fish the groin just below the light house but if you have a 4x4 its worth the trip up the beach from there to the big beach north of the groin where most of the fish are being caught. most of these are being caught with mullies. if you want more info on this option PM me
