Has anyone installed any of the cheap eBay EVA foam decking?
how easy to install, has it lasted, does it compare to the more noted brands (seadek etc).
any advice? It looks cheap so I’m thinking stay away but would like any real world experience.
thanks

I’ve thought about trying the same stuff but have been put off a bit by the projected life, which on the sites that I have looked at is max 3 years. Then it’s cleanup the residue and reinstall again.
I like the Seadek buts it’s up there in price. I’ll be interested to see what feedback you get. I replaced my CC carpet with the ribbed marine carpet and it has lasted 5 plus years, maybe another season or two in it.

I’ve installed it on my Wellcraft, I was quoted around $4500 from the bigger companies but couldn’t justify spending the money. I went with the EBay spec at $320 delivered. I purchased 5 sheets as I wanted some spare and also cut one sheet into strips to use as a border. So far it’s doing well after nearly 12 months some sections peeled up but this was my fault as I tried to overstretch the border around the corners, just pulled that section up and re glued it and it’s all good. A little bit of shrinking has occurred but nothing that’s going to bother me. At $320 I’ll be happy if it lasts 3 years. Took me 2 days to install as the borders were time consuming. I’ll see if I can upload some pics

keen to see pics
I'm keen to see the pcis as well - I'm running marine carpet courtesy of the previous owner but would love to get some nice cushy underfoot flooring

Mate got the real cheap stuff
Mate got the real cheap stuff from eBay. Went on pretty well and looks pretty good. Only issue is it sits out in full sun and goes chalky between fishing trips. Every time he uses it he has to hose the ‘chalky dust’ out of it. Still feel nice underfoot and looks good though.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Eva decking
Can’t recomend any but can say steer clear of diamond deck, I had massive issues with it not sticking and staying down and ended up getting a refund.
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !
