Crays In Pots?

Have been out and pulled our pots on 4 occations but no Crays we tried in shallow 4-6 metres and out to 8-12 metres using 4 pots moving them around but can't get any Crays in our pots. How are you guys doing with your pots?

Sand
Try dropping them on the sand about 10-20 feet on the sea side of rocks/reef.They would be changing their shells about now and would be buried in the sand untill the new shell hardens.Once this is complete they begin the march to deeper water.
Wonder if any divers have seen any discarded shells in their travels to get an idea if they haven't already gone.

same here kev but i talked to diver the other day and he said they were gettig abit bolder not so tucked up at the back of the caves in about 10mts of water so wont be to long i hope

Always set your pots north of Bunbury,for some reason they don't like entering pots south along the coast.Whether its a lack of swell or something I don't know.The pros will start up towards Binningup /Myalup at the start of the season the nead out towards Naturaliste reef/Southwest bank during the whites but never down toward Minninup/Doungup park/Forrest beach

been gettin a few keepers fishin east of nato bout 34m few big girls with berries too but should improve in the next month

I've seen the Pro's working
I've seen the Pro's working the Cape area since the Amateur ban Kaneo. From the time we couldn't fish the pro's moved in and it stinks mate! So Dhues..? got to be lucky. As for Crays, plenty being taken from the Hutts south of Bunbury, but gota pick your days for good visibility if diving. I always find getting Crays in pots is better after Xmas Kev and have never had any success before then from Bunbury.

plenty of crays theremate, i
plenty of crays theremate, i dived sat and sun behind garden island bagged out both days. Crays are still soft and deep in there caves, they seem to be spooked easily to. Its not unusal for it to take a few weeks for them to move into pots,

Got 1 from 4 pots at
Got 1 from 4 pots at Lancelin Last weekend, no one in town had been getting any. Went for a dive off the Rotto Yesterday (20 Meters) and got 9 reds between 4 divers, all pretty big size 90-100mm). No whites in sight, a few Dhu and Pinks around also.
