ar%$#@holes I call them, even down at the club ramps you'll find bait bags, shopping bags, we keep a shopping bag in the boat, all rubbish goes into it, get home straight in the rubbish bin, how ruddy hard is that, lazy, lazy people me thinks. Even in the 4x4 we have a bag for rubbish, first roadhouse on the highway when travelling, in the bin, simple action, but thats too simple for some people, or is it all just to ruddy hard.

As a rule i find fisherman very lazy when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. On Sunday me and my son went for a walk along the beach in Mindarie and there was what was left over of a fire and i thought kids, Till i got closer and found all the bait wrappers..And they wonder why they get bad wrap.

happen to me in the same place, went there for a quick squid and some douchebag parked his 4x4 on the jetty and put his stereo full blast, i dont feel like listening to eminem lol, he was as pissed as and swearin his head off, people have to take more consideration when there are young kids around

The solution would be to put bins in fishing areas, but we now have idiots that set fire to them.

The bait industry need to come up with a solution.

Would cost more, but that's the cost we have to pay for living with idiots in our society, and protecting our fishing future.

I would be happy to buy a scoop of loose frozen bait like you do at a fish shop, have it wrapped in newspaper, then put it in my bucket and take it fishing.

Yeh i understand what u mean man , every time im out on the boat and i see some sort of rubbish in the ocean, bait bags floating beer cans etc , no matter where even if im anchored up ill pull anchor n fetch the rubbish , Dont know how people can pollute the ocean when they take so much from it :).

We fish Kalbarri couple of times every year.
We drive the beach collecting bait bags and rubbish off the beach every day. Ref the driving; we try to have a word to the IDIOTS who use the beach as a Race track with kids and families around, the solution; is not to ban beach driving, as the Morons would still leave their rubbish. Solution is to have a friendly chat, if they don't listen; plan (B) them...

One year in Kalbarri one large group of absolute idiots had an evening fish and a feed on the beach, no problem here;.... until the next morning when we went down at O' dark hundred and found they had "buried" all their sharp edged cans, razor sharp lids, and bottles under 10 mm of sand. We carefully dug up and disposed of their rubbish and the next time we saw them we gave them an earful.

Oh and that reminds me last summer launching at Hillarys, two bods come down launch their jetski and sink a couple of energy drinks. One parks the car the others on the ski. Next thing we look around and they've headed off leaving their rubbish on the boat ramp??? Should have dumped air out of two of their tyres... mental note for next time.......

I guess we just have to pick the bags and stuff up and put it in the bin ,at least we know we have done the right thing ,the other option is tell the guy what a lazy wanker he is and hope he doesn't stick his knife in ya.

I just hate looking in the rocks and seeing bottle after bottle, can after can, then a plastic bag floats past me...reel it in. The list goes on.

Pretty standard to carry a bucket or somethin when fishin yeah? How hard is to chuck ya empties in the bucket and empty in the bin?

I have to admit I dropped a coke can in the water at the ramp the other day, The tide was too low for me to reach it. I asked all the boaties there for a net or something long to snag it but no one could help. I ended up leaving it there sadly. The people watching must have thought "what a F$%#er".

I wish I had kept count of all the thongs I had collected from the water, must be up there now.

def no concideration these days from a large amount of people. we are always pullin in some sort of junk from the water. people just dont give a shite these days , their attitude is someone will pick it up. i have even seen people drop rubbish on the ground right near a bin and too lazy to bend down and pick it up to put it where it belongs
