Hey guys, as i am going to Jurien bay in september and have never been before. So I was wondering what the fishing is like up there. I will be land based and am interested in what I could expect to catch.
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks guys

theres always a few fish
theres always a few fish around the jettys there. Plenty of big squid too.
Try the rockwalls near the marina for tailor, mulloway, pinkies, sharks etc. A really nice spot just north of town is Sandy Cape, plenty of nice gutters along the beach there for tailor and mulloway.
Theres a beach i think its called island point, just south of town, off lesuer(spelling????) drive, ive caught some nice big tailor from there, very fishy strecth of beach.
theres alway plenty of herring about if the bigger fish dont want to play ball and if you want a bit of a strecth, plenty of big rays as well hahaha.
pm colin hay or tackleshack_doug (you probably wont get a reply from doug cos hes away at the moment) cos they were up there not that long ago and they will be able to give you some more recent reports/tips.
hope thats a start for you and hope you get a few fish, dont forget to post a report when you get back.
