Went for a snapper bash off the stones last night, expecting strong NW'ers and big waves crashin the rocks...
Not happy... turned out to be light North-Easter'lies' all night, and light showers...?!?!
What happened to the severe weather that was forecast?
Anyways.... I managed to hook onto a small ray to warm me up... bloody had me going too... due to my water-logged sol-3000's drags slippin, making it feel like big headshakes.... Dam Rays!
Anyone else have a crack? any luck?

hey john, was good meetin ya mate, pity about the bash though. Least i dont feel so bad on missing out on the so forecasted blow lol.
Drop us a pm before the next bash, i will most likely have the day off and we'll tee it up. Wouldnt mind a lil company snapper fishing, gets boring as hell at times.
The storm was hell weaksauce though. Damn wind gods got us again!
And rays man... Always get em at bad times... Gets you excited the first few mins til you notice the constant dives.

some of the best snapper fishing is after the blow ne ways i have heard ive been told dont waste ya time fishing in it, so y sit in it ... so im with vince hot fire and coffe instead of snapper lol (this info comes from an angler that consistantly nails them s not talking shit lol)
