the marinas are a good place to start (on the outside not the inside). use burley and expect herring on the top, put a sinker on and find a few more species lower. Tailor especially at sunset and sunrise.
Quinns beach especially at the groynes.
My favourite is yanchep/two rocks.
Yanchep the lagoon has great reef with drop offs at the shore, weed can be a problem.
Two Rocks has a marina too but Club capricorn has some nice ground too.
as Ricey says - try the Mindarie Marina - as I stay close by I frequent the harbour walls - ocean side, herring, whitys, bream, yellow tail. Inside the marina - yellow tail, small tailor, millions of puffies - just check your size bag limits on fishing in WA. Enjoy - I might even join you for a throw or two - let me know if your interested.
