Head to a north metro beach eg: Grant street or swanbourne drains. These spots usually hold different size tailor just wait a little longer for it to warm up.
Use a whole mulie if you want bigger tailor but if you want choppers try a whole white bait on a gang of 3 or cut up mulie pieces

Would you believe...
I can vouch for the reports of choppers under the Narrows, but you'd be suprised how aloof some tackle store staff/fishos can be. I quote "Are you SURE they were tailor?" Puh-lease. Umm let's see, green back, check. Pug jaw, check. Razor sharp teeth, check. Forked tail, check. Just ask the young lad who nearly lost the tip of his finger whether he's SURE they were tailor.
Three flicks of the Halco slice was enough to put a livey on both rods.

Tailor
I went to Cervantees on the weekend with my fishing club we had a competition up that way.
Tailor were going off it was mandness. Early AM and PM
I was landing two at a time including Skippy. Had bag limit in a few casts so did my hubby. Had to throw so many back it wasnt funny. Even when i changed rigs to target whiting i was getting Tailor. Good Fun... my arms are still aching. We did an overnighter and conditions were fantastic. My Husband and i both won our sections in the comp he beating me by 1 point.
Funny went 4 weeks ago and all the tailor i caught were around 29cm caught none i could keep. This time they ranged from 32cm to 45cm.

I hear some old bloke caught a few tailor this
morning. I know because he sent me pictures of some of his capture while I was driving to work. Nice way for someone to rub it in that they are on holidays (Lol).

Russ and Sandy he can bugger off with his pics (Lol)
He texted me another pic this morning of a haul of tailor as I was heading off to work.
I am hoping that the cutting off of his regular supply of choc milk will slow him down.

Sounds good scere
Great spot Floreat. I can't believe the weed this year. I took my daughters and my eldest daughter's boyfriend for a fish at Pinaroo the other evening and it was weeded out. Surely it has to move on soon.

yeah the weed seems to be everywhere along the coast. i found more of it on sunday north of pippidiny ... i find that it gets thick in the evening once the sun goes down...
its tolerable before sundown but as soon as the sun disappears on the horizon it comes to shore in buckets and spades. funny that?

It is a pain in the butt
This season started off looking like being one of the best for awhile, but the weed has been blocking off a lot of really good spots.
