Caught this one on a bombie near Exmouth Town beach in the early 70's. Went 11lb 13oz. My old man was the Doc in the town at the time so I used his instruments to extract the meat, stuffed the shell with formaldahyde soaked cotton wool, mounted it on a board and sold it to the Truscott club where it hung on the wall for about a decade.
Great deal - got to eat the meat and sell the shell!
Nice to know there are still a few around that size. I'll be keeping my eyes open in July!

Being a techno peasant you'll have to swing by at some stage and I'll show you the old original photo. Either that or someone is going to have to show me how to upload it.

cray
Its a bit of both - big cray and skinny bloke :)
Was taken at Yardie caravan park and caught freediving on the west side, was just under 4.5kg. They put up a good fight when they get that big.
