Went out solo today and got this fish in nearly record time. It took less than 4 minutes once the spread was out and this little fella hit the right and then took the pinky on the left.

get a decky ya bum. No gardies this arvo, the only thing that came up my burley trail was a school of squid. Landed 3 before they moved on.

I've settled on 3 rods and 1
I've settled on 3 rods and 1 teaser when solo. Have done 3 rods and 2 teasers before but it'll backfire on me one day so 3+1 is pretty manageable.

2 lures 2 teasers, can't really stretch it to anymore on the tinny, hard enough as it is. Very quiet out there bottom fishing today, only pickers and furgles, not happy, least this guy made up for it.

I hear ya
Its was all hands on deck with me and Matt - 4 lines and 2 teasers. The double hook-up was pandemonium for the minute or two we were attached.
So even the great AG has a quiet day, even with all your secret spots? My illusion is so shattered......

Nice solo effort Adam and in record time. Solo trips are great, no pressure & plenty of fish!

About 15 mins, probably the best fight I've had for a small marlin. 1 good run at the start, 4 monster jumps and one depth dive to about 50m. I was also stuffing around trying to get a few jump pics and could have got him in quicker, but wanted to tire him a little before trying to do the rod in one hand, bill in the other trick.

Nah mate, beat Tim's. ;) I think I actually have had one faster than that, before we got the 2nd teaser out, but I will need Steve 'Bouttime' to confirm it. We put lures out at 45 and hooked up in 55. Yesterdays were out just after 50 and hooked at 70m.

Yep Ad's wins. My fastest have been 6min, 7min and 10min into the day. My best one, even though it was later into the day was after catching a wahoo, I was feeding out the third lure doing 3-4kts when a black marlin came up and hit the short corner and hooked up. The lures were so sluggish in the water it wasn't funny. Still it's another fish on the board.
