Beautiful day on the water. Found a school of mackerel hooked first one on the troll, 2nd while winding in the second rod, classic. Lost one later and they wouldn't bight again. Few around seen 2 separate schools. Shark mackerel curry spanish cutlets. Metro .

Trolled for five hours around hillarys 1 week ago.. no bait. No strikes nothing... looking forward to the reels screaming again

Fads
Spoke to a fella after the weekend and said there was a heap of wahoo on the fads behind rotto, checked a few fads & weren't holding fish but came across one holding fish. They had a crack at spearing them so not sure if they were interested in lures, but are out there apparently
