snapback whiting

Broke in the new reel with a healthy whiting on a snapback 2" grub amber colour, I release a lot of the fish i catch, but this came home with me for a feed. Was very tasty!

jono.s, was caught in the canning, near the boat ramp on the freeway side, caught 2 more, but only around 10-15cm
cheers faulkner family, caught a nice flathead aswell so was a very tasty christmas lunch, with half a dozen prawns thrown on the side for good measure.
SamC whiting would be up there as my favourite fish to eat, quickly bled and into the ice box :)

Cheers hekser there is a few around, most a fairly decent size aswell and nah snapbacks are fairly blowie resistant, after a while they get a bit chewed up, but can normally tell when a blowie is attacking, bring it in when i feel the blowies and cast again, still normally use 4-5 packs (10 per packet) of snapbacks evertime i go for a fish.
