Rotto West End - Trawl Result Excellent
Submitted by elev8john on Tue, 2012-12-04 08:50
Sunday 2nd December 2012, early start 6:30AM lines out and a small blue fin Tuna landed by the skipper Wayne. Spurred us on to remain at the West End. Loads of birds diving on bait fish, we headed smack in the middle of them around 9AM. Strike! 15 minutes later we landed this Yellow Fin Tuna 18Kgs estimate. No bad for a mornings fish. Who says there are no real fish in WA Metro Waters?

Good news indeed. (On the to do list)
Only had 1 yft on the boat as yet. bout the size of a herring (non bull) .
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Maybe I'll be able to put some recently acquired skills into place ;) when I get home.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
