Very very very good indeed, the flesh is some of the whitest I've seen in any fish.

I've seen pictures of these
I've seen pictures of these before (only in books)and expected them to be petite little fish, obviously I was wrong.

Go hard
The bigger ones from shallow water go hard and give a very good account of themselves. They still give a bit of a fight from the depths, but nothing like lighter gear/shallow water, now thats fun. Almost fight pinky style.

Nice....on the East Coast
Nice....on the East Coast they are call Japanese Sea Bream. Prolific on the outer Coral Sea reefs....tasty and go hard in the shallows

different fish
the robinson sea bream and the japanese sea bream are 2 different fish both from the gymnocranuis family... the robinson is gymnocranuis euanus and the japanese is gymnocranuis grandoculis easiy seperated by the spots on the scales and the rounded tail fins...

me and my dad got 4 robbos
me and my dad got 4 robbos about that size in coral bay years ago, didnt know what they were so threw them back haha oops
