I did see a list once of GPS marks for all sunk / scuttled vessells off Rotto or somewhere, I think I mightta bookmarked it maybe...trouble is I bookmark so much damn stuff it's a all day task to find things again!

However - you are indeed correct in that a vessel named the Nord Star did in fact sink somewhere off Wanneroo while under tow!!

This steel-hulled fishing boat was lost while under tow. Little remains of the wreck which lies on a rocky bottom on the west side of Gretel Reef.
