Too right jimbo1! One of the nicest ive used! I rate them up with my loomis barra rods thats for sure. Alot of people stay clear of these sorts of combos but in reality they are a pleasure to use when used right and effortless casting all day can be achieved. It casts very well and with the awsome cast settings on that reel with a click of a button you go change your casting preference very very quickly. Just love it. My one and only fplueger combo and the way it has impressed me ill be getting some more thats for sure. Not cheap, but what is these days?
Yeah the stroy goes: Bouttime, sherbert and myself went for a little session down south and while we were cruizing around the tracks to find some good ground for trout i asked boutime to look out the back window and check the rods! As i was constantly reveresing up and trees were a problem. He replied " hey mate i think you better stop trolling your hooked up!" i said "WHAT"! We got out of the car to find that my new combo rigged with a soft plastic had alittle line out.......when i say alittle line we started walking back down the track to find id been trolling for quite awhile! Nearlly 100m of line weaved its way along the track and rested 'HOOKED UP' to a tree! hahahah pretty funny at the time but very lucky it didnt brake me new toy.....lucky i had backed the drag off hey!
