Looks like Shogun the crazy lab is decideing whether to chew either your Saltiga or your t curve A good effort for a home made one no doubt it will be a bit fuller by the time I get back with your brother bringing you down more rods and reels.
See what I can bring back for you to add to the collection Live to fish Andrew
LOL more rods and reels? Be buying my own for a while i think... then again... you wish me luck in Rods and Reels i'll wish ya luck at the Burma Banks haha. Big Wahoo thats what i want to see!
The rack took me about.............. 3 hours. Was trying to figure out how to make one from picks from the net.. it works so i'm pretty happy. might sand it down a bit more and varnish it, possibly stain it and add a bit more wood to the top and put all sorts of labels and shit make it look like the ones from a store.
Its absolutely fantastic when the rods actually fit! and they didn't fall..
not being too much a "non-alpha male" but i was holding my breath. You going to Tassie Dean? Maybe luck will find you the chick like the one in the photo... but minus a couple of toes, fingers, a funny thing sticking out the back but you can get over it....
My friends from tassie and he assures me that they all look normal:) So go do both types of fishin!
Nice clean looking rack....might want to put some felt tape on the indents where the rods sit so it doesnt mark the rods. Is that a TD Zero on the left and what is that red rod??
** Oceanside = Strudwick,Daiwa,Van Staal,Jigmaster Rods, Banax, Shimano,Penn, Okuma, Furuno etc...** Oceanside Tackle and Marine 364 South Street, O'Connor, Perth WA Ph# 9337 5682 Fishing/Boating/Dive/Marine ** OPEN 7 DAYS **
Team Daiwa Zero(green) and a Team Daiwa Advantage(red). Need to get myself a nice baitcaster for the advantage, atm i'm using a millionaire proteus 250 which i bought of dogsoldier.. but thinking it needs some more bling with a calcutta.
Yeah still need to do a bit more work on the rod rack, but its stable and figured out what to put to make my rods stand erect without screwing them up. A bit of cushioning and a small straps are next just to finish it off. Oh yeah staining, nice jarrah colour maybe or teak?
Both great looking reels, probably lean towards the Blacksheep simply for aesthetics :P rod and reel gotta match yea? Add my TD sensor and i'm set woot! Blacksheep is a pretty heavy duty baitercaster tho
Hell yeh.....I got a 250 black sheep with a red SOM after market power handle/knob to match a "semi-custom" daiwa Procaster X 10-17lb Interline. I'll be quick to get them tho.....they are discontinued and no more stock at Daiwa HQ.
