Its got alot of blue in that nose, could just be the colour that the photo has captured. The scales and bodyline of the fish looks very much black bream like. It has a very slopped head which gives it more the silver bream trademark. Im undecided!!!!
Blackies have alot tougher scales. If the fished scaled easier with finer scales I would be leaning towards a Silvery!! Body for and scales look to much like a blackie. Just got back from Walpole and have seen enough of them for the last fortnight. Anyway interesting to see peoples obs.
Was the fish caught inside at Denmark in the Wilson Inlet, rivers or on the beaches. Really wont help decide anyway!!!!!
