The extention is ali and its sealed and bolted to the transom. ive removed the original 150l fuel tank from the center of the boat and put a 205l tank at the transom. this has made the ride perfectly balanced. in the extention ive also had 2 water tanks built into it that holds 100l each. there hooked up to a deck wash.
I rigged up a deck wash to my old pacemaker by using a bit of bent copper tube that screwed into the bung and then a valve inside the boat. Worked by the force of the boat being driven (old cray boat design) used to work mint.
Looks great mate ,always a bit of a delema when doing a convertion ,wondering will it all come together .sounds like all is good and she looks the part.I just had a 200hp Honda put on my rig ,great motor, cheap and quiet.on the flat days I wish I had the 225hp,Then again if I had I would want a 250hp .shit make it a 300hp.

The performance of the Honda is no doubt better and cheaper than the inboard .Has it giving the boat a better balanced ride?
