Cant beat big blueys, so
Cant beat big blueys, so much better than crays,prawns etc like you said. I could eat a hundred of the crab drumsticks! for me the females seemed to have the better meat tho

Females do seem
To taste better . I just don’t like taking them . Can’t see Cockburn ever opening again . I think water quality ( weed ect) has made Cockburn crabs decline

Big Blue blends with the benchtop
Seeing a big blue come up in a net is a highlight of summer. No scientific reference but it should not be legal to take females. Been for a run in the Swan Tues- Friday this week and safe to say its been a popular pass time. Especially in the Canning Bridge vicinity. Deep Water Point was crazy today, went down for a swim with kids to watch the craziness after a Ab swim.
