I would be crapping myself if the tide was coming in,,maybe its lack of confidence,,i would get bogged in a bitimen carpark

Yep it's bogged alright, ok guys see those shovels there. I think any one who has had or has a 4 x 4 has been in situations something like that, it may not be on the beach but we all know what it's like to be stuck.
