Fished down south for the weekend, got plenty harpuka, Nannys, couple trevella and a few bass. This big boy being the highlight of the weekend.

What a fish, great catch catching a fish like that makes the electric reel worth every penny.

Out of interest what electric reel were you using?
Daiwa tanacom 1000, it was actually a double header of the 52kg bass and another at 48kg so was a fair bit of load for it haha.

found a leadge in about 400m with plenty of bait fish on it so drop the line over an had a bite before we even hit the bottom.
