Back into it again!
We'll the last 2-3 weeks has been very busy for me. The shops flat out, been helping out on one of our cray boats (driving to get my seatime up also) and i've finally moved into my new house (Big Thanks To Shabba...Cheers mate)
Whilst i was moving house and wasn't using the boat i'd thought i'd use this time to upgrade to the new MaxSea 2D/3D colour plotter system. It links to my Furuno sounder and is the bomb, we use them on our cray boats so i wanted one for my vessel.
After a bit of teething and a late start Scott (Soupster) and myself we're back at it again and considering we only fished the later half of the day, we did well. Fished out of Tworocks in shallowish water and got our 4 dhu's with my two weighing 10kg and 17kg. Scott got a nice feed of mixed fish and his baldy was a stand out for him and no doubt my favourite eating fish. All fish were caught on driftbaiting and using little outfits so plenty of rod bendage. Both of us also lost a good dhu each, mine pinged off due to not backing off the drag after getting my big fish and Soupys spat the hooks.
The winds were bugger all and the water clarity awesome, the northern current slowed down the day and the cray guys did it harder yesterday for that reason also.
Couple of pics!

I was fishing 40m & under stuff Colin. As it was my first trip out i'd decided to leave all my jigs and my new other driftjigging outfit at home. I'll be back into the jigging soon.....time to play catch up
