to be honnest the fight was
to be honnest the fight was quiet dissapointing, i think it could of been the fact that it had swallowed the lure and was lodged into the gills so it bleed out. a few good runs but when it came to the boat there was just a big trail of blood. iam suprised a shark never got it

i was suprised about the amount of sharks, i was expecting alot more. in the 2 weeks i was up at emouth we only caught 3 . but there were 2 bust offs possible from sharks

Yeah its a spanish mate.
Yeah its a spanish mate. They a hell of a lot bigger too! I think it was adam gallash and gully that sighted a 50kg plus spanish launching out fo the water at exmouth with a 10kg tuna in its gob!

Nice spaniard. I think King Mackerel (USA) are the same as our Spanish Mackerel. The fish that they call a Spanish Mackerel in America is a different fish.

8 years is a pretty short
8 years is a pretty short life span. yeah its a spanish mach and they do grow alot bigger. but your not ment to eat them once they get over 24 kg because they could have that Ciguatera Poisoning.

Its only 18kg that you can eat them at in queensland. They get ciguatera once they get just under 2m.

Haha nice fish! Mackerals are nice eating~! grilled especially! with a tinge of leon adn shredded horse raddish! Thats a japanese recipe. Anyway! Went fishing today at E-Shed, my brother tried to catch a crab aT E-shed.. E-SHED! didnt catch any though.... but caught yellowtails and a herring... pretty pathethic :(
