hey guys
i kno its not the time of year for it, but does any1 in the perth metro area know any where any good spots for yabbies are, i dont know many lakes and that around.
info would be appreciated

you could get them
at the tackle shack as they have a tank full
i dont think they would take too kindly to you throwing the nets in but

hey robo i know a great place right next to where i live. in landsdale theres is a lake filled with em. All u need to do is throw a couple of bricks with the holes in em and wait a day or two. I do it all the time and in the middle of the lake is a small island that we swim to and thats where all the yabbies are. sometimes youll throw a brick with 10 holes in it and all holes will be filled. HOW GOODS THAT!

Beaumaris
The lakes around Beaumaris used to be stocked with yabbies as well..
Worked for the company that installed the lakes and we had to pump one out to undertake repairs (going back a few years ago now)... Yabbies everywhere !!!
I wouldn't be surprised if you found yabbies in most of the man made lakes that have popped up in the residential developments over the last 10-15 years... might pay to check a few out.
