I was absolutely amazed when i returned home about 3-4 hours after catching this redfin using worms at Grimwade Millpond when i turned away from this fish to grab the chopping block and fillet knife and came back to find that a live worm had crawled out of this fish... i rushed the worm back to soil around the fruit tree that it came from where it was almost eaten alive by ants. I thought it deserved to live so i filled an ice-cream container with damp soil until the worm recovered then released the worm once it was healed and it dissapeared into the soil.
Now i just hope i dont pick out that worm next time i go fishing haha.

thats a bit out there, i
thats a bit out there, i recently had quite an out there experience with a redfin, i caught one at harvey dam and threw him up on the bank, a good 20-30 minutes later i had a look at it and it was laying there covered in a good 10-20 ants, i thought it was near done, and after previously being bitten by one of those ants that day i had a slight hate on for them, so i put him back in the water to get the ants off, fair enough his mouth starts to move so i pushed him around a bit to see what would happen, fair enough he starts to slowly move around, i gave up after about 2 minutes of pushing him around and he just floated there moving a tad, so i thought i would try spooking him, threw a rock right next to him and off he went...
out of the water for half an hour and still swum off..guess it was his lucky day
