look for bottom with sand
look for bottom with sand and bombies/reef
in about 10-25m is ideal. fresh squid is always a favourite bait on light paternoster rig.

go to
the weed patches in cockburn sound and anchor up....berley up......low lb paternoster rig and some squid....cast into the sandy part close to the weed and wait about 2 mins.....ive been hundreds of times and never come home with out one.....you ll prolly catch one or two and then you move on to another patch.....some big slappers in there and the water is about 3-4m deep....on light gear is so much fun......even picked up a small ray on my 1-3kg rod...hahahahaha snap
SO MANY FISH.....SO FEW SICKIES!
